The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to players forming firm opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and enjoy a strong partner; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Just like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Super Hawlucha

Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are.
