The Ideal Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form According to Your Astrological Sign
The comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to players forming firm opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.
Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that highlight their traits, one idea came to mind: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Super Houndoom comes across as constantly angry, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of both and enjoy a strong partner; if you cross them, prepare to get burned.
Taurus – Mega Heracross
Much like a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross, whether in its regular and Super Form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, each the Pokémon and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of snacks. Several previous official descriptions mention their fondness for sweet sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it everything, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Observe this total queen. You cannot convince me this creature is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of chatter to those who wish to listen. Just like an captivating, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their tales. Medicham’s official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.
Cancer – Super Manectric
The Crab is commonly regarded as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate sign famous for often becoming wrapped up in their emotions. Per the official info, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab crash-out. It is also recognized for its ability to create a storm cloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
The Lion – Super Starmie
Well, did you assume I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the lion of the zodiac? Aside from the fact that it would be much too obvious, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be broadcasting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a show, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Mega Victreebel
The ever-prepared and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down visage that’s similar to the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.
The Scales – Super Audino
Look at this sweet, empathetic creature, who employs the feelers on its ears to detect how people are feeling by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about others.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through sheer resentment and vowed retribution on its previous caretaker. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the ideal match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Super Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. As a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some version of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.
Capricorn – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.
Aquarius – Super Chandelure
Aloof air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is Leo, and there are countless jokes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Mega Chandelure’s double Spirit/Flame category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you weren’t already convinced, the Mega’s description says it “draws in negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
