Moist weather were expected to linger along large portions of the state's eastern regions this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
The following day was expected to become the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk expected across different parts of both regions.

Health officials cautioned that there was an greater possibility of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
