Celtic had led their oldest rivals at the break but a disastrous second period enabled Danny Röhl’s team to pull level on points with the defending Scottish Premiership champions. The French coach, who was brought in in December, has now presided over six defeats in eight games.

“The standard we had at certain moments was of top quality. That happened. I wouldn't speak so positively if it was not the case. That is the reason, when it comes to wins, I said it's a repeating pattern. For that reason I believe we are really close to a shift in fortunes. Right now: the fine margins.”

“We produced plenty of positives that we did, like today again. The issue now is sustaining it. My narrative would be different if it was not the case. That’s why I am convinced we will manage to fix this.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

Danny Röhl played down talk of a championship push despite what appeared to be a huge result. “Step by step, then we can develop a challenge,” he said. “The faith in the squad is excellent.”
